not painting with light, it is an art
but it's not photography - That's what I do - And it is.....well.....better.
Printing is the critical process which enables my
visions to come alive for you. I utilize a specialist in hand printing
services with over 20 years experience. All color photographs are printed as
Deluxe Gloss Cibachrome Prints. (Black & White are printed as Exhibition
Fiber Prints). Cibachrome printing provides the best possible sharpness and
color rendition. The stability and longevity of Cibachrome prints are
legendary!
Prints are available in both traditional and full
frame sizes. I highly recommend going with a full frame as it maintains the
films natural 3:2 aspect ratio to include the whole image as you see them
displayed in this portfolio, whereas traditional sizes require some cropping
of the image.
All photographic prints are sensitive to
dust, moisture, and finger prints. The only way to truly protect them is
with a quality frame. In order to offer additional protection for your new
print, I would be pleased to have it framed for you at a reasonable cost if
you will provide your framing preferences. Upon arrival at your home you
will have a magnificent print framed and ready to display.

in underwater photography. I continually work toward expanding my
knowledge and ability in an effort to perfect the vision I wish to bring
to you. Some of the best results I've had were on dives where I just sat
in one place and watched as the whole marine environment unfolded before
me and watch the light dance through the water. It was magical and it
inspired me to share the magic with you. I believe that great photos are
90% photographer and 10% equipment..... therefore, the gear that I have
chosen to use is equipment that's not necessarily top of the line but is
easy for me to use when diving. I shoot with a Sea & Sea mx-10 and hand
hold the ys-40 strobe. All the Color Prints are on Fuji 100 Sensia slide
film and the Black & White Prints are on either Kodak Plus-X 125 or AGFA
Scala 200. None of the images were shot in digital format nor have they
been digitally enhanced. Don't get me wrong.....digital imaging can be a
fun thing. Photoshop, it's clever curves and cloning, it will always
retrieve the image, correct your mistakes...but somehow pixels, bytes,
numbers really...they're
